Carrera de Alpandeire
Sun, 2007/05/27 - 18:46 — Matt HendersonThis weekend we stayed again at the cabañas in Jimera de Libar, where, on Saturday morning, Pino ran in the first annual “Carerra de Alpandeire”, a 10 km mountain race. She finished 6th (in the female group), and had a great time!

- mhenders: Drobo gotcha: You can (and should) allow Drobo to format itself *larger* than the total disk cap you've installed. (Default 2, better 16GB)
- mhenders: @exposur3 4 500GB drives. The docs advise to only buy what you need *now*, given how fast drive prices drop.
- mhenders: @dspiers Will do. I plan to connect it to a server, and create 2 partitions: (1) a shared Time Machine, (2) shared general storage. Mac OSX
- mhenders: @markboulton And letting 10 years go by isn't a good idea either... "Marge, we've got a bleeder in here!"
- mhenders: @markboulton I just went for the first time in 10 years. :-( I also noticed they've stopped cleaning with a rubber bit and strawberry paste.
