- mhenders: Drobo gotcha: You can (and should) allow Drobo to format itself *larger* than the total disk cap you've installed. (Default 2, better 16GB)
- mhenders: @exposur3 4 500GB drives. The docs advise to only buy what you need *now*, given how fast drive prices drop.
- mhenders: @dspiers Will do. I plan to connect it to a server, and create 2 partitions: (1) a shared Time Machine, (2) shared general storage. Mac OSX

The comment was made that backups should be taken off-site on DVDs. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this? I have a bootable backup of my Powerbook on an external 120Gig FW drive. What’s the best way to take a snapshot of this to store off-site?
